Christmas Plays!!!

Hanging out With Dancer (Nichele)!

Me!

Jingle All The Way

My first play this Christmas season was Jingle All The Way. I was Nellie. My lines were:

Scene 1

1.But how will we get there?
Do you know the way?

2.Jingling?

3. I just can't wait to tell Santa "hello".

All3:Let's Go!

Scene 4

1."You ought to hear Santa's jingle in the snow.

Then you'll know just where you should go."

2.It's so very cold... I'm covered with frost.

And I hate to say it, but I think we're lost!

In song SOS!

1.Next corner? There are no corners! We're on an ice floe near the north pole, you idiotic machine!

2. Arrrgh!

Scene 6

1. The presents and gifts are not the important part.

It's the hope in the air and the love in your heart.

The End!

The second play I was in this Christmas season was at church and it was called:

The Gift

Act 2

1. PLEEEEEEEEEEASE????

2.Ms. Laura, before we try the new way, may the girls PLEASE sing part of Away In A Manger? We have practiced that so many time and I love that song. Then we can all sing Tiny Little Baby.

Act 3

1. That whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have an everlasting life!

Act 4

1. We could bring the Baby Jesus clothes and diapers!

Babies always need clothes and diapers!

2.And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying"Glory to God on highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

3. Let's make it a simple gift. A gift of Love.

Buy The Red Corner: The Rise and Fall of Communism of Northeastern Montana

Buy The Red Corner: The Rise and Fall of Communism of Northeastern Montana. I know it's a long title, but let's call it TRC (The Red Corner). TRC is my mom's book. I got to go to China, and five weeks later baby and I flew again! We went to Montana for the Festival of the Book and it was fun. I loved the Best Western and in Missoula meeting author Ellen Baumler! I got Ellen's Montana Chillers: 13 True Tales of Ghosts and Hauntings. I also read poetry.

Cast in Aladdin

I got cast in the play Aladdin. I auditioned and got a role as a "Silly Girl" and a "Townsperson of Agrabah." Miss Kathie told me that the silly girls have a lot of "singing" to do. I love my roles! Here is the link for the Aladdin cast: http://www.spotlightactingschool.com/AladdinCast.html. My name is at the very bottom. Arabian Nights (part 1) is the first song. We are doing a mixture of the teenager version and the Kids version. Last Saturday (Oct. 9) I found out that I would be running after Aladdin yelling "Thief! Thief!" and then the next line is "Someone stole his bread!", but they changed to say "Someone stole her bread!" My script is in a binder. It is gray. In the slide-in place I have a paper that says Aladdin in pink and an orange P in Play.

Stuck at Hong Kong Airport, China

Hello, Readers!!!
I am trapped in Hong Kong Airport!! Our flight doesn't leave until 12:00. It is by Cathay Pacific. A girl from Dragon Air helped us. We got to get on Cathay Pacific with her. Her name is Catherine. She put us in the middle with the Jeffersons. That's why we're on Cathay Pacific. Here is the website:http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/homepage. We were going to ride United, and they were holding the plane for the families, and I ran fast the whole airport length with Mom and Dad. Our bags hadn't got there. Same with the Jeffersons.

People's Park, Nanchang

Hello Readers!

Kiddie Park

I went to People's Park, Nanchang. Ladies said my friend James was strong. They said I was strong. Our tour guide, Susan translated it. After that, I went over by the monkey bars where some of the men were having a hand-over-hand and pull-up contest. It was grampas against daddies and children. No teams. James entered, and I stood up and they pointed at me. I said bu dui, bu dui (boo dway). It meant incorect, incorrect. I would've loved to run into the spotlight, but not this time! Then, the next thing I knew, I was running to the triangle toys! Then I was pulling back on the loose one, and all of a sudden lots of ladies were watching me! I was in the spotlight at last!

Rides

I went on a swing ride. It was a swing ride and it lifted you up. James went on the outside. I went, too. I went in front of him. James and I both touched a tree.

The Summer Palace

Hello Mrs. Anderson's class and others!

I went to the Summer Palace where we rented a boat and I was captain. I also got an ice cream bar and mama did, too! The Summer Palace was an emperor and empress's place. The boats were motorized, paddle boats and silly rowboats. I got a motorboat. Cixi (Suh- SHEE) had money for the Chinese Navy, but she spent it on herself. She bought a marble boat. Cixi was a fine empress but a little selfish.
Today we are going to the Great Wall of China with some other families from our adoption agency. We got two days in Beijing but they will get only one.
Tomorrow I meet my baby sister, Maryn!!!!!

In Japan

Hello, fellow readers! I am in Tokyo, Japan. I am going to spend four days in Japan, then I'm going to go to China. I flew United Airlines. This is me with the plane. I got a window seat, coach class. For those who do not know, first/business class is premium. The upper deck is like double first class. The pilots and co-pilots fly in the upper part. I flew upper deck when my mom and dad adopted me. We had some United miles, but we paid for our hotel for them. Maryn (baby sister) will fly to America in Coach Class. We will be able to board first because we will have Maryn. The rule about that is if you have a child two years or under, you may board early with First Class.

The Horseland Games

Horseland.com is a free virtual world for horses and kids. There are even unicorns there. You can go there to ride horses in the pretend world, chat with friends by messages, read community forums, and communicate with other people in the real world. AND you can play games! The games are Messenger Girl, Appaloosa, Last Straw, Race Camp, Jumping Mad ,Pastures, and A Mazing Garden. My favorite is Messenger Girl. I play it by using the arrow keys: left, right and forward. You can jump over stuff. You try to get to Bartow, Springfield, Puerto Villa, and some others. I can only get to Bartow. The time you have leftover from getting to Bartow will be added to the amount of time you have to get to Springfield. I recommend that you try Jumping Mad; it's the easiest.

My Wonderful Family and Pets

My family is Verlaine and Andy. Verlaine is my mom and Andy is my dad. I'm the youngest until mei mei comes home. "Mei mei" means little sister in Chinese. I am only seven. My family is the best family I could ever have. I'm so glad they adopted me.

Moving on to my cats: my cats are Toulouse, Blacky Wacky, Starlight and Olaf. Let's talk about how we got Toulouse. My mom and dad said I could have a kitty and we went to the animal shelter. I looked at every single cat. I saw a cage with cats that looked like Toulouse. His brothers and sisters were wild, but he wasn't. He's a good kitty.

Next is Blacky Wacky. She is a girl cat. I don't know the story of how we got her because she was here when I was adopted. She is a good kitty.

The next cat is Starlight. Here is the story of how we got her: my mom and I went out for a walk on our driveway. And then we heard a cry ("Meow!") from the forest by our house. My mom rescued her and we brought her up to the house and she had some milk. And she was our kitty.

The last cat is Olaf. I don't know the story of him because he's the oldest cat; he was here when I was adopted.

The cats, Mom and Dad are a good family.
